Just a suggestion.

Love,
E-Money Herself

Re: I Want To Fuck Up My Life

Ha. I beat you to that. You are starting now. I started when I was 13. I am 30. And believe me, its not about working the system. Can I write a book about it. Really?

Re: Top 10 Signs You’ve Found A Real Woman

"It’s realizing that everything worthwhile has some sort of pain associated with it."

Not even remotely the point of your post, but a ridiculously poignant moment nonetheless. Thank you for sharing.

Re: The Cleverness Conundrum Continues…

interestingly, i actually DO know what the practical applications of this technology are. i promise i'm not typing this to be a smartass; it's actually kind of fascinating...

i was talking to this lady at work a couple of months back, and she said that her elementary school kid has some kind of ADD/spazoid/whatever disorder, and he has to take drugs to help him focus and be able to do things at school. the drugs kind of substitute for the hormones/chemicals that his brain should normally produce, but it doesn't. unfortunately, the drugs have undesirable side effects (i don't know exactly what), but it's better than being all schizoid/spazzo/whatever at school. (you like my technical medical terms for this stuff?)
so, they took him to this new experimental high-tech neurologist or something, and they did a brain-mapping with all of these electric leads to determine what parts of his brain were not functioning correctly. using that information, the next step is he's going to be flying out to california several times to be hooked up to anotjer machine, where he will basically be playing video games with his mind...but these are special video games. the video games are designed to stimulate certain parts of his brain that are currently inactive or non-functioning, and the goal of this project is that by the time he is done, his brain will be able to create the chemicals or hormones or whatever it needs that it is not producing now, and he won't have to take the drugs. i think that once his brain knows how to do it, he won't even need the video games anymore. it will just happen naturally.

so, there's your practical application. come to think of it, what if this tech could be applied to something like parapelegics (sp?) being able to control their wheelchairs with their mind? or amputees with robotic limbs? or how about full-on mechsuits? the possiblities are limitless, really...

Re: Top 10 Signs You’ve Found A Real Woman

Hi Mesha! And thanks for the question. The short answer is...not quite. I do know more than a few women who fit the mold, and I've met a lot that come close. As with any list of qualities or attributes like this.

Have I dated any of the women I know that have these qualities? Yes. Have I dated women that pretend to have them only to be revealed as falling far far short? Yes.I have found, though, that it all begins with Honesty. A woman who is fearlessly honest with herself and about herself and others usually very hard to find.

And the unfortunate reality is that in the world we live in, rife with delusion and unhealthy self-obsession--especially given the Reality TV Landscape we now play in where atrocious self-absorbed behavior is rewarded--the number of PEOPLE that genuinely possess and exhibit these qualities are getting harder to find.

Rock on!

Re: Top 10 Signs You’ve Found A Real Woman

Your article is very well written but there's one point that I could help thinking about when I got finish reading it, the emotional aspect of it. My question to you is did you find that one person with all those qualities or a woman remotely close to having at least a quarter of all those qualities?

Re: Danger, Will Robinson!

did you try taping all the trash together with duct tape? the garbage men really appreciate that...
